“Thank you so much for the generous gift of money towards my nursing degree at CLC-Brainerd. Your gift will be very helpful in reaching my nursing career goal.”

“With the most heartfelt gratitude, I would like to thank you for your contribution to the Michael E. Norris Scholarship fund. I am incredibly honored to have been chosen to receive this generous scholarship. I have set high expectations of myself and for my education and have worked very hard to accomplish my goals. I recently made the Dean’s List at Central Lakes College for my academic accomplishments throughout my first semester as a Practical Nursing student. I was also highly recommended by my instructor to become a tutor for the Practical Nursing program and am very excited to be able to help others accomplish their dream of becoming a nurse. I greatly appreciate the financial support you have donated to those like me, who will be devoting their lives to others.”

“I cannot even put into words how thankful I am to be the recipient of your scholarship. Receiving this scholarship helps in more ways than you may know. In 2015 I was pursing my nursing degree when my fiance was diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma. I withdrew from my program to be his caregiver for the next year to follow driving him to and from his inpatient chemotherapy and radiation treatments down at the U of M Masonic Children’s Hospital. This put a huge financial burden on our family. I am determined to complete my nursing degree to show our four year old son that anything is possible if you put your mind to it. As you already may know, college is very expensive, so any bit of financial help is beyond appreciated. I feel very blessed and honored to be able to receive such a generous gift of money to help me achieve my educational goals. God bless you!”
