Michael Hager

Michael Hager received his bachelor’s degree from Metropolitan State University in Minneapolis. He was an instructor in the landscaping program at Brainerd Technical College. He then opened a landscaping business, but then returned to education at Staples Technical College in several positions. He then went on to be the director of development for Central Lakes College. He was a professional fishing guide, and won several walleye fishing tournaments in both U.S. and Canadian competitions. He coached little league baseball in both Brainerd and Baxter, and was a member of the Brainerd School District Community Education Advisory Board.
