Pat Abrahamson

In 2013, Faye Abrahamson helped establish the “Patrick Abrahamson Scholarship Fund” for her late husband, Pat Abrahamson, at Central Lakes College (CLC).

Pat Abrahamson was a 1959 graduate of Duluth Central High School. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Minnesota-Duluth and completed his Master’s Degree from Bemidji State University. He drove heavy equipment through his college years. Pat was an instructor at CLC in small engine and auto mechanic programs for 32 years. He retired in 2002 and passed away in 2011.

The memorial scholarship is for students enrolled in the small engine or auto mechanic programs with preference given to veterans. Faye said her husband was not a veteran, but was always a big supporter of the military.

Pat was a member of First Lutheran Church in Brainerd, the American Legion and the Eagles. He was also a member of the Moose Lodge and received the Past Fellow Degree.
